Dear NERVES Members,
Now that we are a few months into 2025, I am filled with enthusiasm for what lies ahead for our organization. This year promises to be full of initiatives and collaborations that will propel us forward and deepen our professional connections.
I am particularly excited about our upcoming Annual Meeting. This event is shaping up to be one of our most engaging gatherings yet, with a robust agenda that includes cutting-edge breakouts, insightful keynotes, and ample networking opportunities. It will be a great place to reconnect with peers and meet some new members and sponsors. I am really looking forward to our Wednesday tour of Brigham & Women’s Hospital in addition to the networking tours on Thursday afternoon.
Further strengthening our foundation, we continue to nurture our partnership with the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS). This collaboration is more than just a strategic alliance; it is a shared commitment to advancing the field of neurosurgery through education, research, and advocacy. Our joint efforts this year will focus on developing programs that are directly responsive to the needs of our members, ensuring you have the support and resources to thrive.
Additionally, our board retreat in January in Mexico was a tremendous success. The time spent together was invaluable for setting our strategic priorities and aligning our goals for the year. The retreat allowed us to reflect on our collective vision and plan effectively for our future endeavors. The beautiful setting provided a perfect backdrop for both productive discussions and relaxation, recharging our commitment to our mission.
I hope to see you all in Boston in a few weeks. Together, we will make 2025 a year to remember!
Respectfully,
Jacob A. Rodman
President, NERVES
