Beth Baucom is the Associate Vice President of Clinical Operations and Neurosciences at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston Salem, North Carolina. In this role, Beth is leading integration activities with the Neuroscience Institute and responsible for local financial and operational performance of neurosciences within the Wake Forest Market, part of the Advocate Health – Southeast Region. Since joining Neurosurgery in 2002, Beth has been an active member of NERVES serving in various leadership roles. Beth earned her master’s in health policy and administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her Bachelor of Science in Public Health Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Galyn Damiani currently works as the Senior Director for the Brain & Spine service line and Pulmonary/Critical Care services at Centra Health, a non-profit health system in Central Virginia. In this role, Galyn leads all functions of the service lines, specifically focusing on strategy and performance as well as provider recruitment and compensation, caregiver engagement and leadership development. Her specific expertise lies in strategic leadership, creating vision and developing teams to rebuild culture and execute on goals. Her background in physician relations has positioned her well to engage and partner with providers to optimize clinical and administrative leadership of the service lines.
