Tell us a little bit about yourself.
Including my time as the Chief Executive Officer of Sierra Neurosurgery Group, I've spent over 20 years in executive healthcare positions. My career has been dedicated to fostering patient focused operations, strategic growth, and operational excellence within the medical field, with a particular focus on neurosurgery, pain management, and sports medicine.
Prior to my role at SNG I was the CEO of Sierra Anesthesia, a large anesthesia group providing service in multiple hospitals in the region. I earned my business degree from the University of Nevada, Reno and currently serve as the Vice President of the Healthcare Leaders Association of Nevada.
Throughout my time at SNG, I've cultivated expertise in hospital and physician relations, healthcare leadership, and business strategy. A significant part of my role involves working closely with our physicians and administrative leadership to ensure we deliver the best possible care to our patients. I'm passionate about patient experience and making sure our team feels connected and collaborative. I truly believe that being understanding and working together helps to keep our organization strong. Over the years, I've learned the critical importance of adaptability; while a perfect plan is rarely achievable, the ability to plan, pivot, and start over is invaluable.
How long have you been a member of NERVES?
I have been a member of NERVES for 9 years.
How many providers are in your practice?
Currently there are ten physicians and twelve advanced practice providers in our practice.
What do you love about your role?
As a key member of the region's largest neurosurgical practice, established over 45 years ago, I'm excited to lead the recruitment of new subspecialties. This initiative allows us to bring the highest quality of care closer to our patients, and I find creating these new service lines incredibly fulfilling, both personally and professionally.

Can you share a success story that highlights the impact of your program/leadership?
SNG expanded cranial services in the region by hiring two subspecialty trained skull base surgeons. As a private practice, the surgeons, my administrative clinical staff, and I worked closely with a local hospital and community physicians to create a multidisciplinary clinic and tumor board for neurosurgical oncology patients. This initiative has streamlined patient care for one of the most vulnerable patient populations. Witnessing the positive change of the patient care model in our community has been incredibly rewarding.
What are your future aspirations for your program?
My aspiration for Sierra Neurosurgery Group is strategic growth, focusing on expanding our provider team and service offerings while upholding our commitment to excellent patient care.
What is our favorite hobby?
I enjoy spending time with my two daughters, exploring the outdoors, hiking, camping, and boating.
What's the next place on your travel bucket list?
I plan to travel through Italy in the spring of 2026.
